Labasheeda broadcast set for the 2020 Gigantic Bicycle Festival.

Labasheeda are an art-rock band with members from Amsterdam and Haarlem, the Netherlands. The band's current lineup features vocalist & violinists/guitarist Saskia van der Giessen, guitarist Arne Wolfswinkel, bassist Renato Cannavacciuolo, and drummer Jan Tromp.

Tying together a decade of adventurous, sound-evolving albums and changing lineups, are penchants for concise, stripped down melodies, and quick switches from spacious bass lines and drums into heavy, chaotic, and sometimes anthemic guitar driven songs, drawing comparisons to genre-pushing bands such as Sonic Youth and Sebadoh.

Their ninth album, Status Seeking, will be released on Presto Chango Records on September 4th, 2020. A vinyl pressing of the album will be available to early-birds as a silk-screened, individually numbered release.

Track from the EP Listen the Snow is Falling.The EP has been recorded without drums en highlights the more introspective, (semi)acoustic side of the band. The release features a cover of Yoko Ono's Listen, the Snow Is Falling, a remake of of Black Blood, plus three new songs. The EP is released in a numbered edition of 200 copies on snow white (well, sort of) vinyl.
