Last May we were touring through the Czech Republic and Germany. The last stop was Auerbach, where we did a live-in-the-studio session at Fuzzy Room Recordings. Thanks so much to Andreas Eckert for this very nice video of our new song Sparkle, featuring Bas Snabilie on the snare.

Status seeking – Out today!
Finally – our new record Status Seeking is released today! Available at our store, Bandcamp, Concerto in Amsterdam, and of course this weekend during our gigs at Cinetol and Humanity House.
It already got some enthousiastic reviews from Bluesbunny, MNPR Magzine, The Sleeping Shaman and others. Fluf, on the other hand, thought the record – despite the tasty looking vinyl – was “uneatable”.

New single + Gigantic bicycle festival
Today we released Dark Dream, the first single off our new album. It’s available for free on Bandcamp. Check it out! The album itself will finally be released on September 4 (more news about that soon).
On August 1 the premiere took place of us doing a live set for the Gigantic Bicycle Festival (you can still watch it on YouTube or in our video section).

Back in the studio
Last Friday we have been recording The Clash song Deny with producer/engineer Ryan Hadlock for the forthcoming compilation Hearts & Minds & Crooked Beats. Old friend and multi-instrumentalist Wim Elzinga joined us on banjo for the occassion.
It was great to work with Ryan and we are very proud of the results!
Benefiting the International Rescue Committee, Hearts & Minds & Crooked Beats will feature bands and visual artists who created work inspired by The Clash and celebrating their music and human rights message.… Read more
Release party + other upcoming gigs
This Saturday there will be a Changing Lights release party at De Nieuwe Anita in Amsterdam. The line-up also features The Howl Ensemble and Mankes, while DJ Viso will be spinning some records. A splendid time is guaranteed for all.
